mcpsearchconsole.com (“we”, “our”, or “us”), operator of the Search Console MCP service (the “Service”).
Terms of Service
Acceptance of Terms
By accessing and using mcpsearchconsole.com, you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provisions of this agreement. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.
Use of Service
Search Console MCP is a hosted connector that exposes your Google Search Console data to AI assistants that support the Model Context Protocol (MCP), such as Claude, ChatGPT and Cursor. You sign in with Google; by default we request only the read-only Search Console scope (webmasters.readonly) and store an encrypted refresh token so that your AI client can query your Search Console data on your behalf. With that default connection the Service cannot modify your site, submit sitemaps or change your Search Console settings. You may optionally grant the full Search Console scope (webmasters) through a separate consent from your account page; it is used solely to let your AI client submit or remove sitemaps for your properties (submit_sitemap, delete_sitemap) and for nothing else. A set of site-health tools (DNS, redirects, robots.txt, TLS, PageSpeed) only reads publicly available web data. You agree to:
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes
- Only connect Google accounts you own or are authorized to use
- Not attempt to disrupt the Service or circumvent usage limits
- Respect applicable laws and Google’s applicable terms
Service Availability
We strive to provide a reliable service, but we do not guarantee that the Service will be available at all times. The Service depends on Google APIs and other third-party services that we do not control, and it may also be subject to maintenance, updates, or technical issues that can cause temporary unavailability.
Plans, Payments and Billing
The free plan is available at no cost and requires no payment method; it is subject to usage limits published on our pricing page. Paid plans are recurring monthly subscriptions. Prices are shown exclusive of VAT and may be charged in your local currency.
Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as the merchant of record for your subscription (Stripe Managed Payments). Stripe collects payment and calculates, collects and remits any applicable VAT, GST or sales tax on our behalf; your statement will reflect a charge associated with Stripe. Your purchase is also subject to Stripe’s applicable terms. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel or update your payment details at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, and you keep paid features until then. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.
Limitation of Liability
mcpsearchconsole.com is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any damages arising from the use or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by mcpsearchconsole.com and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. Google, Google Search Console and related marks are trademarks of Google LLC; this Service is not affiliated with or endorsed by Google.
User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
- Ensuring you are authorized to access every Search Console property you query
- Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
- Keeping access to your Google account and your AI clients secure
- Not using the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Prohibited Uses
You may not use mcpsearchconsole.com to:
- Access data without proper authorization
- Violate any laws or regulations
- Attempt to disrupt or damage the Service, or to circumvent usage limits
- Abuse the site-health tools to probe or overload third-party websites
Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes by updating the “Last updated” date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Termination and Account Deletion
You may stop using the Service at any time. To delete your account and the data we hold about you (including your stored refresh token), contact us at contact@mcpsearchconsole.com. You can also revoke the Service’s access to your Google account at any time from your Google account’s third-party access settings, which makes the stored refresh token unusable. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access for any breach of these Terms of Service.

Privacy Policy
Introduction
mcpsearchconsole.com (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our Google Search Console connector.
Information We Collect
When you use mcpsearchconsole.com, we may collect the following information:
- Google account email: used to identify your account.
- Google refresh token: the OAuth credential issued when you sign in (
webmasters.readonlyby default;webmastersif you opted in to sitemap write access), encrypted with AES-256-GCM. The decryption key is held outside the database. We also store the list of scopes Google granted, so the Service knows whether write access was enabled. - Notes: short free-text notes you or your AI assistant save on your account through the
add_notetool (for example a site-migration date), optionally tagged with one of your properties. They exist so the assistant keeps context between conversations; you can list and delete them at any time withlist_notesanddelete_note, and they are deleted with your account. On the Team plan, notes are shared: the team owner and everyone covered by the team's verified domains can read each other's notes, labelled with the author's email, and the owner can delete any of them. - Google Workspace domain: when you sign in with a Google Workspace account, Google tells us the account's hosted domain (for example
acme.com). We store it so a Team plan bought from that account can cover the domain without a DNS record, and to show you when colleagues on the same domain also use the service (a count, never their names). - Usage events and counters: which tool ran and when, used to enforce plan limits and power your account dashboard. This never includes the contents of your Search Console reports.
- Payment information: handled by Stripe. We do not store your card details.
Google User Data
Your Search Console data is fetched live from Google’s APIs each time your AI client calls a tool, passed through to that client, and not stored on our servers. Our use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We do not sell your Google data, and we do not use it for advertising or model training.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Query the Google Search Console API on your instruction
- Enforce usage limits and provide your account dashboard
- Provide billing and manage subscriptions
- Secure the Service against abuse
Under the GDPR, our legal basis is the performance of our contract with you. We do not sell your data.
Data Storage and Retention
The contents of your Search Console reports are not stored on our servers: every read is a live request to Google’s APIs, relayed to your AI client. We retain your account email and encrypted refresh token while your account exists, and delete them when your account is deleted. Usage events and counters are retained for quota and operational purposes; a usage event records which tool was called, when, and which property (or URL) it was about, never the data returned. On the free plan, the allowance is shared between all free accounts that sign in from the same company email domain (public mail providers such as gmail.com are never grouped), so your usage counts are combined with your colleagues’ and the number of such accounts is shown to each of them.
Data Security
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including AES-256-GCM encryption of refresh tokens with the decryption key held outside the database. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Third-Party Services
- Google: OAuth sign-in and the Search Console API. The
page_speedtool also sends the URL being checked to Google’s PageSpeed Insights API. - Stripe: payment processing and merchant-of-record billing.
- Our hosting provider: the infrastructure the Service runs on.
- Analytics: the website uses PostHog and Google Analytics to understand product usage.
These services have their own privacy policies governing the use of your information.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
- Access the information we hold about you
- Correct, export or request deletion of your data
- Object to or restrict certain processing
To delete your account, contact us at contact@mcpsearchconsole.com. You can also revoke the Service’s access from your Google account settings at any time.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the “Last updated” date.
